Kiyoshi moved to France early in his career to learn how to make mezzotint prints. His artwork includes more than thirty intaglio prints of flowers and (or) birds of which twenty-six are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Kiyoshi drew the shapes of objects accurately but used colors other than black sparingly. He often included a number of unrelated objects in a picture which made it interesting but challenging to understand.
